You've heard the saying, "The Show Must Go On!" but during our rehearsal process for Wait Until Dark, our whole lighting system crashed, and we were unsure if it was going to be up and running again before the show! This same system also crashed right before a production of Little Women, causing a delay in the show’s start time. To ensure the quality of our performances, we had an immediate need to get this lighting system replaced. Thanks to the quick work of Burrows Pro Audio, we had a new light system installed in a few days and the show went on without a hitch.
In addition, we have decided to upgrade some of the electrical systems and lights at RCCT. This includes exterior lighting so that you will be able to safely walk to and from our building on show nights and also includes updated lights and wiring inside to improve the safety and illumination of our facility.
The updated show lighting system and electrical work will equal about $10,000.
We’re calling this fundraising campaign “Light Up the Theatre,” and we would be so grateful for any help you may be able to provide. Thank you so much for your love and support of theatre in Western Oklahoma!
